CH.Paxon's
Penny's Pit From the USA in 1986 we acquired by far the most outstanding Kerry dog
ever to be seen in Germany, both in breeding and at the shows. Mr. and Mrs.
A. & R. Santo (Paxon's) sent us "Paxon's Penny's Pit" who was followed
later by "Paxon's Penny's Paul". "Pit" in particular was
a one-off in every sense of the word and a stroke of luck. With countless victories
behind him (all obtained in two years), he was to prove his worth as a breeder
with a number of connections both in Germany and abroad. Breeding at kennels in
Austria and England was based on his lineage. The Bedsted family's Kordes Kennel
in Denmark began breeding with "Penny's Lara" from the Pit line. Later
"Penny's Marco" and "Penny's Meggy" were to follow. Pit broke
all the records of European Kerry breeding! His progeny have spread as far as
Moscow. He has 225 descendants in Germany and abroad, a tough target to meet,
especially as he was only used for breeding from 1987 to 1995. He lived for 13
years. It was with great sadness that on 26.4.1999 at 9:00am we were forced to
say our goodbyes. He was judged BoB 25 times
and was awarded the following titles: |
